Following the appointment of Mr. Salvatore Torrisi as a member of Marangoni SpA’s Board of Directors, approved by the Shareholders Meeting in recent days, the company's new Board of Directors held a meeting today. During the meeting, the Board of Directors appointed Vittorio Marangoni as President and Giuseppe Marangoni as Vice President of the company. Knight of Labour Mario Marangoni was appointed Honorary President in view of his role as the company's founder and his more than 60 years of commitment leading the Group.
Contrary to what was reported in several recent articles, the possible 75 million dollar investment in Sri Lanka only involves Marangoni indirectly.
